My search for my wedding saree started by browsing through Kanakavalli’s website and since i was not able to travel at the moment, i was not comfortable to make the purchase of my wedding saree online. After asking around couple of saree enthusiasts and seasoned saree vendors in Malaysia, i decided to take my search to @kancheevaram_weaves_by_zobha . This was the best decision i ever made.

 

Walking into Zobha, i told Pavithra that i was looking for something pastel. Being a experienced person in this industry, Pavithra recommended me to try brighter colours to complement my skin colour. I have always dreaded brighter colours afraid that i may not be able to carry it. After talking and getting recommendations from Pavithra, I decided to give brighter coloured sarees a go. She allowed me to try on 2 other sarees that i have finalised and i finally decided to go with the orange. Being the designer of the saree, Pavithra was able to explain on the details and the silk threads she used for the saree. How many times do get purchase the saree directly from the designer herself?

 

She was also kind enough to do the beautiful 3 tiered kunjum for the saree, which way better quality then the quotation and designs i got from tailors.

 

I will always cherish my shopping experience with Zobha and i am definitely looking forward to purchase more sarees for my collection from Zobha.
